On-the-Job Training at Makati

Looking at high and tall buildings makes people imitate you. Strolling in Makati makes you feel like you're in New York or  in Wall street.

Not doing only clerical thingie such as typing, photocopying and be a messenger but we do lots and looooots of inventories of all floors like checking, tallying, balancing and sticker tagging (not to mention common sense here and photographic memory) I also learned on how to interact with the employees and adapting to be in a professional way. This OJT experience teaches us on how to be patient (not to mention doing manual inventories), on how to dress appropriately and of course, personally learned separating work from family. Whatever exasperation you had at work shouldn't be brought to your house so there would be no conflicts.

I may not be in a position to say this but based through my observations, patience and being practical (madiskarte) are the main things to be successful or should I say to survive at the very competitive world.

I've also noticed that, the lower the position the more obnoxious the person is. The higher the position the more humble and kind the person is. Pobably because the person with a low/normal position is still striving to be on top that's why he/she is aggressive. While seniors are already complacent and reached their goal to be like that.

But both positions are very essential to a company so...Life is really like that =)

Being Nationalistic..

Our tummy is having a revolution..so we stopped by at KKK food revolution!

Oh, this was the time when KKK was started

The KKK members agreed on the following objectives:

▪ The political goal was to completely separate the Philippines from Spain after declaring the country’s independence.
▪ The moral goal was to teach the Filipinos good manners, cleanliness, hygiene, fine morals, and how to guard themselves against religious fanaticism..
▪ The civic goal was to encourage Filipinos to help themselves and to defend the poor oppressed.

Yummy food at Dulcinea

Hola! pigging out again. So here's my story.

My hubby went to have a blood test that time and I was from Makati to meet him. Then..WE GOT HUNGRY. We browse restaurants at SM fairview, of course we want something new..We went to Dulcinea (we usually buy desserts and haven't dine in meals here) so we decided to try this espanyol ristorante! :))

When I entered to Dulcinea, someone tapped me...OH MY! It's my friend Jules! having an intern here. It's kinda awkward feeling when a friend serves you Isn't it? But it's nice to see him again! Aw, I forgot to take a photo with him..Dagnabbit, my bad.

As an appetizer they served us a soup that consist of croutons, egg and garlic soup.

Lengua de estofado especialidad, Thumbs up for this! That's ($8.22) Php370 for you

Gambas ala ajillo, good for 1 person and that's ($4.88) Php220 for you :)

The best I've tasted. Frito de la Abuela so crispy and meaty inside! That's ($3.33) Php 150 for you

And some extras that I did not include here anymore are garlic rice, catalanes & my favorito cream puff! We spent for a total of ($18.33) Php 825! Well, we do eat-a-lot don't you think? haha. The result was great, we got full..NOT OVERFULL, though the food is kinda pricey. Oh well! It's just for the heck of eating and being happy ;)

For more Dulcinea check out my other blogs at Dulcinea! & Dulcinea again ;) We're gonna try more spanish restaurants, any suggestions?

Happy meal! Adios!

This is how cats fight!

OJT: Feb 1-4

Had a tiring yet exciting week for me. I was assigned to the General Services at PSBank Makati.
We did some sort of paperworks stuff such as typing, writing and organizing inventories.
I had made friends with the PUP QC, the same department as I am. They're nice :)

Our work time usually starts at 8:30AM - 5:30PM. So, I wake up at 5:00AM then at 6:30AM off I go =)

AROUND 8:30AM either I have nothing to do or resuming my yesterday's work.

AT 12:30PM: Every lunch time we go to the pantry (first run, first serve though) haha.
Their AC's are so freakin'cold that I have to go out just to "defrost" myself  LOL. Then chit-chat with my friends and walking around the building/Makati.

AT AROUND 1:30PM: Work again.

5:30PM: ta-ta!!

Going home for about 1.5hours! ZzZz..
