Mey Lin pot & noodle house

Yesterday was a busy day for me looking for OJT offers around Makati City. Good thing I had my map in my reliable digicam, so my friend and I had visited 8 companies around 2.5hours.

 

My original plan was to search around Ortigas if ever I finished early at Makati. Unfortunately, at around 4PM, I just went straight to Megamall while my friend went home instead.

I was waiting for my hubby Megamall, sleepy and hungry! So I went to Dulcinea to ease my hunger and ordered 1 Catalanes. Yummy!:)

As I walk around the mall, I saw this restaurant.

 

 

 

 They served us jasmine tea as we were waiting for our food.

 

 

As I look around the restaurant, I noticed that their theme does not match to "chinese theme", instead, it was like pinky peachy in color and modern style (like cozy county style). but anyway it's cute! And the heck I care, I'm into their food not their tables/chairs and stuff :p

Kimchi noodle soup under Hand-pulled noodles that has 2 choices of either snack (130Php / $2.86) or meal (180Php / $3.96)

 choices of noodles: thick, thin or flat.

I was so shocked when I saw their big bowl of soup.. as in big! And there was a guy who also ordered a soup that even he cannot finish it all up. Kimchi noodle soup is not that spicy and mediocre for me, their noodles is like pasta in thickness.

 

Yang chow rice for 210Php / $4.62

 

Their Yang chow rice can be consumed by 2-3 persons.

 

Chicken cubes with dried chili

240Php / $5.28

This one is tasty, it has viscous consistency and not too hot nor spicy. Chicken cubes are soft and oh! it also contain peanuts :)

Dinner at Yellow Cab Pizza Co.

A late post 2 days ago.
We went to SM fairview to have a grocery and we haven't had a dinner. We were choosing if Yellow Cab, Pizza hut (coz we want to try their lechon pizza) or Tong Yang. After a long thinking..Pizza hut and Tong Yang were about to close haha.

So, yellow cab that is!

Here's what we've ordered:

1. Charlie chan chicken Pasta for 235Php ($5.22)
2. Tortilla Chips for 120Php ($2.67)
3. NY Finest Pizza 10" for 355Php ($7.89)
4. Pistachio Ice cream for 99Php ($2.20)

TOTAL OF >> 809Php ($17.98)

They have 2 choices to make your food HOT. Chili oil but has no taste at all (left side) and Red Pepper Sauce (Right) that it has spicy tingling taste.

Ooh, Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta, this yummy treat has peanuts, oriental sauce, chicken cubes, shiitake mushrooms. Viscous consistency and the taste is strong. What makes it yummy is because of shiitake mushroom and sauce.

I prefer to eat their pizza hot, looking at the gummy yummy cheese :)

Okay, so hubby and I talked about the difference between Pizza hut and Yellow Cab Pizza. Pizza hut's pizza, yummy BUT too oily and "nakakauyam habang tumatagal"

I'm not into tacos/tortilla chips anyway, instead my hubby loved this. He opted to cheesy dip. as usual,  yummy & crispy when it's hot!

You thought we're done huh? NOT YET. HAHA! I ordered Pistachio Ice cream to share it with my honey lovey. Smooth and has bits of pistachios and of course, I like their canister so I brought it home so I can put in some of my trinkets and stuff :))

I would be glad if you suggest other yummy food here :)

My husband and I are being nocturnal again, all nighter astronomy. So, we spent our time searching for stars,nebula,galaxies and planets. The above processed images was manipulated from Registax software.

Probably this month or so, we'll buy the camera adaptor (used to attach our digicam)so we can play with it. So far, these are the pictures taken from our Celestron 4SE Telescope along with our Logitech Quickcam.

This is where we set up for Astronomy.

Everything seems pretty isn't? It's not edited, it's just my DIGICAM :)

and voila!

Just DON'T MOVE if you want to take photo of yourself, it's too sensitive that will give you a blur.

New Year 2011

At our house, watching the fireworks display of our rich neighbors at fairview haha! cool enough to see it!

Celebrated the New Year for the two of us, shared some food with our neighbor, facebooking (well, who doesn't?) and of course, pigging out. :))
Oh yeah, I didn't notice that the wine has 10.5% alcohol in it..THE RESULT? headache...feelin' hot and hyper! haha

Pre-Christmas celeb

Been busy eating oops, I mean lately to update my blog. This was taken before Christmas. :)

Isn't it nice to see these charming trinkets? oh Christmas!  :)

We ate at Sbarro and this is what I've ordered, LASAGNA. YUMMY!

It is worth the price of 185-195Php (around $4) that'll make your tummy stuffed! super heavy (I chose white sauce over the red sauce).

My husband ordered Chicago White stuffed pizza.

A pizza that I'm also craving for..honey that's mine! :) 

Catalanes at Dulcinea. *drools* I already made a blog about this at Dulcinea 

Cream puff for the win! The taste is so mild and has creamy-eggy filling inside, on top is caramelized sugar. In the end, I started to crave for some more. So, I'm planning to indulge myself to every cream puff in town!

Sisig from Gerry's Grille. Hmm..Not bad at all. 7/10

That's it for EATING! though my weight still the same at 120lbs. haha!
