BITTER BE GONE =)

As a wife, I should be practicing how to cook (and swinging those pans, shielding against oil attacker, scream then runaway!! It shouldn’t be that way anyway?!)

Most importantly when we now have kids in the future (Yes, they are picky-eaters) and we all know that kids don’t like veggies, some adults too. Especially if we’re talking about “BITTER GOURD” eeww yuck!
What they don’t know bitter gourd as well its leaves will give you numerous benefits to your health. I’ve researched important facts about its nutrients just go to this link.Ü

Personally, I like bitter gourd maybe because I’m lacking blood? haha! they say that it’s a good source of iron, so that is why.
Okay, this blog entitled “BITTER AWAY!” I don’t mean that you have to throw your veggie through the window like that or feed it to your reliable pet is a no-no?? What I’m trying to say is HOW TO LESSEN THE BITTERNESS OF BITTER GOURD?
I adopt this from my mom so maybe I can share it to you guys.
Here’s a simple trick to bitter away technique:
First, slice your bitter gourd/melon
Second, put salt on your veggie then crush/mash with your clean cutie hands until the juice comes out.
Third, drain the juice (don’t add water yet! or It’ll mix up)
Fourth, After draining the juice, you may now rinse it with water 4-5 times.
Lastly, BITTER AWAY! =))
I’m sure those picky-eaters will look like pacman to their bitter-free gourd =))
That’s it for now guys, thanks for reading!
HAPPY YOU! ♥
